Chapter 5 Colour exercises


I’ve done these before, but not stitched, apart from some hand stitched tonal values years ago.  The machine wasn’t keen, but here are the results.

I used acrylics for the painted parts, and was a bit(!) heavy handed with the black. If there is a lot more painting on paper to do, I shall have to buy some gouache colours as I only have Brusho (which needs mixing) or water soluble pencils and crayons, as I have found these more use recently.
